💌 Mail

Importing your old emails to your new email (for search capability) - Instructions for Gmail

IMPORTANT:

• Would definitely suggest waiting until your email is clear / the weekend as this process clutters your email for awhile!
• Your folders / labels don't import along with it, so would need to start over on those

If you use superhuman - adding a new account is pretty self-explanatory, but I’d suggest changing the order of which email shows up first (in your shortcuts), just click settings in the bottom right and you can drag / drop to fit the order you want

📆 Calendar

We wanted to make sure that we didn’t miss anything - so have all of our calendars in one place for now as we phase out the old ones.

On your new Google calendar:

• Left side by "other calendars", click the plus symbol
• Click subscribe to calendar
• You will have the option to add your old calendar here - make sure the labeling is clear so you can distinguish it from your new one

There is also the option to import your old calendar - but I found it to be too messy with the ability to edit / make changes, etc.

If you use Calendly:

• Change your login: Settings → Login → Change email (here you can also update your link to reflect the new name - but note that all of your old calendly links won’t work)
• While you're calendars are in transition, you can have Calendly check multiple calendar accounts for availability
  • Account → Calendar connections → Add calendar account → Check for conflicts
  • Here you should also change "add to calendar" to your new email
