- Update email footer for your new emails
- Update new headshots with a LinkedIn teaser
🚀 Launch Day
10am ET: Update LinkedIns / Twitter
- Update name and copy on LinkedIn and Twitter to reflect new name, mission, positioning
- Make sure to also update logos and headers (would suggest doing this in canva so the sizing is correct!)
- Update individual bios so as people look around on launch day, everything is consistent
- On your website, be sure to update any “social links” if they change through this process (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter)
- If changing your email, set an OOO message for your DV emails and set-up forwarding to your new emails
10.15am ET: Share LinkedIn posts + newsletter updates
- LinkedIn
- Create a post from the new LinkedIn
- Then individuals can share with added commentary on top of that
- Emails
- After LinkedIn was posted, we sent heads up emails and “please engage” emails to LPs, founders, communities, and friends
- Newsletters
- We also shared a specific post to each of our newsletters for mass distribution =
10.30am ET & after: Respond to everything 🙂
- At least part of the LinkedIn algorithm is connected to your response rate to people who engage. Respond, respond, respond!
